I am an illusion

I never ceased to exist:
Right from the beginning, 
I am past, present and future.
I further illusions by thinking that 
I am something that Consciousness 
Has been inspiring all along in my mind:

I am the butterfly that dreamt about 
Me dreaming about a butterfly dreaming 
About me dreaming being a butterfly.
