One inspired, brilliant night

Dusk gently recedes within
The dark hours of silence.
Nature hushes, and 
my mind wanders.

I look back at the things 
I've done and gone through.

I had no expectations then,
I have no lingering claims now.

I did it all because 
I embraced life wholeheartedly:
And I will continue doing so.

So a brilliant symphony 
emerges  unexpectedly
from the core of the night: 
I hear it, feel it and I smile.
